Why I Stopped Waiting Until I Felt Ready

I used to think you had to feel ready before doing something serious.
Ready to release the music.
Ready to start the business.
Ready to build the product.
Ready to put your name behind an idea.
I’m starting to realize that feeling usually comes after you begin, not before.
A lot of the things I’ve learned came from starting while I still had questions. You build something, it breaks. You release something, you notice what could have been better. You make a decision, then learn from what happens next.
That process can be uncomfortable, but it’s also where most of the growth happens.
I still like to prepare. I still overthink things sometimes. But I’ve learned there’s a point where more thinking stops being preparation and starts becoming delay.
You probably won’t feel completely ready.
Start anyway.
Then get better while you’re moving.
